The LCP II has a slightly thicker grip than the LCP. The new molded clip fits the shape of the LCP II but I'm guessing to save money instead of re-machining new push pins that extend to the end of the thicker grip they have just seen fit to provide a longer SH cap screw. All the original packaging is re used with a sticker added that says "do not over tighten". The gap present makes it easy to over tighten or once reading the warning sticker under tighten. I personally don't like trusting such a large tolerance (.068") on a life and death tool like the ruger LCP II. I machined my own push pin to the correct length using 1/8" round bar stock.

This product is just a small, thin, blued, stamped piece of steel. That's it, it's all it is and should sell for about $5. With it's marketing, packaging etc. the manufacture would still make plenty of $$ Selling it for it for over $20 is just way to high for what it is. It works well, makes the pistol feel very well outside a holster, in the waist band or in the pocket. I couldn't be happier with the function of the clip (and it seems sturdy). The price is just what boggles my mind.

I have been testing this around the house with a Ruger LCP 2 for a week now to test its performance, and I really like it best clipped to the top of my blue jeans right hand pants pocket top all the way to the right as possible, the angle of the clip is great for a fast draw and points the muzzle at a safe angle toward the ground just behind the right leg. Waring it around the house clipped to my pants pocket for a week I have had no issues of it falling out or working loose. It gives another carry option for a low cost and it is out of the way when shooting and has caused no negative issues when shooting.

The ruger lcp 2 is lighter than carrying a full mag of a .45 by itself. With the right amo it will do the job of stoping "the bad person". Unfortunately, due to its small size, there're not too many good options in the holster market for concealment with a fast draw capabilities, until now... The clipdraw (IMHO) is the only piece of engineering that combines all you need to carry a small gun, in a way that fits virtually anywhere in your clothing; without sacrificing accecibility. The design is so compact and ergonomic that seems like factory assembled.

I usually pocket carry my LCP 2. I bought the Clipdraw Belt Clip for Ruger LCP 2 not to be used as a primary method of carry but as an alternative to a pocket or belt holster. The clip does not interfere with the handling of gun or its controls, or when in another holster.
