Thought I would try the full size UpLuLa after a recent handgun purchase, I have arthritis in my hands and found the new magazines very difficult for me to load. A little pricey for the mostly plastic device in my opinion, but can't argue with the effectiveness. It works sweet and takes all the effort out of loading pistol magazines with heavy springs. I liked it well enough to purchase the 1911 adapter for single stack magazines and the smaller version to use with .22 up to .380. The adapter for single stack magazines can be filed for a perfect fit on single stack magazines that are wider than the 1911 but narrower than double stack magazines. The smaller version does a nice job on.22 caliber magazines and the one .380 I've tried mine on. The smaller caliber magazines are easy enough for me to load even with arthritis but you will still appreciate this after a long session at the range, give it a try.Read full review

I bought this based on an answer to a question on a Cabela Q&A site. Someone asked whether it was compatible with a Kel Tec PMR-30 which uses .22 magnum shells in a double stack magazine. Cabela answered Yes. I got it and never took it out of the package. It was obvious that it would not fit over the magazine. I returned it and ended up finding a device on ebay that was purpose built for the PMR-30. It works great. I also bought a MagLuLa for my 9mm. It works great. Good quality.

I use this little loader for my single stack mags for my Beretta Tomcat INOX 3032 and my Bersa firestorm 380. Just like the double stack Maglula loader that I use, I don't think you'd find better loaders anywhere. At first look at these years ago, I wasn't impressed til I tried one. They are extremely easy to use to load and unload your magazines. I also own and use many of their (maglula) rifle magazine loaders and unloaders as well. Saw a demo at a gun show and was SOLD! If they seem to cost more to you, take my word, you won't be disappointed.

If you enjoy shooting, this will let you enjoy even more. The only bad part of my day at the range is reloading my many magazines, my thumb gets sore from reloading, and after a while I leave out the last two rounds because of the pressure on my thumb. NO more thumb discomfort. Hold loader as a pistol grip, slide magazine into bottom of loader, rest loader/magazine on any surface ( table, knee, whatever) squeeze loader, press down, hook will push down follower, insert round, loosen grip while raising slightly upward, round is now in place, squeeze again while pressing down, hook now presses first loaded round down , insert round. continue until clip is full . No thumb pain, no strain. My wife loads her 380, 7 rounds in 7 seconds We use two versions My wife, MagLula Baby loader .22, 7.65 (.32) .# 380. My Son and I use MagLula 9MM 45 After the gun, ammo, this will be your next best investment. I only go on and on because after you try this, you will show and tell all your friends also.Read full review

Faster than your thumb, and doesn't make your thumb numb. Think of it as a gift to your thumb, or an insurance policy to prevent permanent soft-tissue damage. It is now realistic to have your weak hand be your strong one. This item works *better* than advertised. Finally, you can "slam it" each of the rounds so tightly that the last one actually fits without having to use a mallet to drive it in. Very well built, excellent engineering, and will survive ham-fisted teenagers loading your mags for the privilege of going to the range with you.
