Very Impressed
I just installed my second main spring mag well this week,. the first was for a Sig 1911 C3. The mag well installed was stainless steel, PERFECT FIT AND EASY INSTALL. The second was for a Kimber Ultra Carry II, again PERFECT FIT AND EASY INSTALL. This one was black steel. I could not be better satisfied with this product. This is a quality product for quality guns. I recommend this for anyone.

Make sure it fits.
I bought this for a short barreled Rock Island 1911. It just would not fit. No matter how I tried to fit it It looks great and if it had gfit I would have liked it..

Un-impressed.
Had to bend, epoxy and file to get proper fitment and remove gap. Fitment was tested on both a RIA and Kimber ultra. It fits proper now, but was NOT a drop in part like some others, that will remain un-named. I should have spent the extra $15 and saved some time.
