Great product from safariland.
Well made, sturdy duty grade holster. ALS/SLS work perfectly. Very ergonomically designed. RDS shroud takes a few draws to get used to, but very user friendly overall. Hand goes right to where it belongs to maximize grip and safely draw from locked position. The Safariland code system takes some investigation, but it is decipherable.

Great retention holster for G17 MOS with Vortex Venom and Suppressor Height Sights
Safariland is the defacto standard for duty holsters for good reason. This holster is super-strong not just in the body of the holster itself, but also from the manner in which the holster is connected to your belt. What good is a retention holster if someone can snap the whole holster off of your belt? That won't happen with this product as it is heavy duty and quite stout with all connectors between the holster body and your belt. I swapped the connector to a QLS fork, but the holster performs consistently with expectations for a professional line Safariland product. I'm running a G17 Gen4 MOS with a Vortex Venom red dot and suppressor height Trijicon night sights. The suppressor height sights easily fit and clear. The holster fits and retains properly with or without the TLR1 light attached. The RDS cover on the holster clicks into place manually after holstering and should keep rain and dirt off of the RDS lens - which you'll really appreciate in pouring rain, dusty or muddy environments - yet automatically snaps out of the way on a draw, just as it should.
