Bought two of these for my new rifle, as extra magazines. One worked fine, the other didn't work. I was able, after watching a Youtube video and figuring out what was wrong, to fix the second one. On the second one, the spring was not seated correctly. It took a while to figure out how to fix it, but now it also works fine.

I have heard of rounds sticking in mag. Well they do in the one I have. If you put no more than two rounds in mag it will work but slow in bringing round up to be fed into weapon. I found one local payed a little more but at least it works like it should. For the cost of returning the mag it was easer to just get one at a local firearms store.

I'm familiar with these mags from my Ruger American .243. I was a little surprised they were the same mags for the ..308 until I remembered the .243 was a necked down .308 cartridge. So, I had 2 extras for my .243 and got 2 extras for my .308. That's how much worthwhile I think of having extra mags. Not so much in a deer or game hunting situation, but just because you never know. If you find what you feel is a good deal, look some more and then more until you do get that best deal and buy them ASAP!

Tested and cycles well with the Ruger American .308. No extensive use yet but the last shell aligns much better and feed better on the last round than the old metal follower version that was with the rifle when bought. The last shell with these presents a full "face" to the bolt rather than a partial as the last round positions to load. Marked improvement in my opinion
