Had a GL0087 and liked it, but didn’t wear it that often so I sold it. About a year later, I found myself missing that watch- it was so legible, comfortable, and utilitarian with some lume, a date, and good water resistance. The 60-click bezel was also helpful since I use dive bezels as everyday lapse-timers and not actual diving.. This GL0185 is almost the same watch that I had previously, and am glad to have it back. This one has the bracelet which I like, and they reverted back to the original Glycine logos now (which I prefer). I haven’t opened the case back but I imagine this model has the Sellita movement instead of the ETA I previously had. I do wish they brought back the drilled lugs on the GL0087 and GL0185, but that’s not a deal-breaker. Very happy with this watch- and am thankful they have dropped in price compared to what they used to cost around 2014, 2015 or so. Invicta or not- I can’t tell any difference in quality, just a few minor aesthetic changes to the text, date window, and logos.Read full review

I found debris on the dial, the hands are painted with what looks like finger paint, and the bezel is off by a full MM. I own both cheap and expensive watches. Everything from a very expensive high beat seiko marine master down to a low end citizen quartz. I have to say I've never bought a watch and been this disappointed. I can't look at it without a flaw jumping out at your face. I expected more from a swiss brand with this much heritage. The only reason it got 2 stars was the movement. I love the ETA 2824. It has a smooth sweep and runs at an acceptable plus 5 seconds a day.

The body is slimmer than you think but feels very polished and refined. The links are solid and very sturdy. The movement is extremely smooth and of top quality. Only drawback is removing the links. Very difficult and regular pin removal tools can’t stand up to the quality of this watch. Take it to a jeweler for band adjustments.

At $399 this is an excellent buy. Watch is well made, nice weight to it and looks good on wrist. Clasp is ok, feels lighter than bracelet and a little tinny sounding to be honest. Will be a great “beater” watch on weekends, and I am very happy with my purchase.

If you want a "Swiss" watch at an affordable price this is it. Easy readability, fits the wrist well, Solid link bracelet, excellent lume and the Swiss movement is smooth as silk. I love my Omega but this watch is comparable at less than a forth of the price.
