Bought this Mopar OEM Gas Cap to try and Fix my EVAP check engine light code..This is much less cost than a Dealer Tech Check Out ... Now after years of the check engine light being on or coming back on after resting the computer code by removing the -neg battery terminal on my 2001 Chrsyler T&C minivan. The Check Engine is OFF ** SEE UPDATE BELOW ** This is a Update one year later .. The Check Engine light is coming back on it started again in the winter season. **DO THIS TO FIX YOUR PROBLEM The Final Fix for the EVAP Check Engine light Code was the full Replacement of the ' FUEL NECK ASSEMBLY ' , it was rusted badly and had a leak . ,. Fits 2006 Chrysler Town and country perfectly.
This is the OEM for my car. Was using an aftermarket one before and it never fit right, kept smelling gas and periodically got the gas cap warning and even the check engine light. This one solved all those problems. Good buy at a great price.

Fits 2010 Grand Caravan, very easy to install.
2010 Grand Caravan SE with 3.3L V6. This fits my vehicle perfectly. The old cap with tether, simply pulls out and the new tether simply pushes in, it took under 10 sec to do both, no tools required. The warning "Gas Cap" in my console no longer comes up. My old cap was yellow; this one is black.

I have a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica was told I should buy the original cap and would fix my problem but unfortunately 2 days after putting this original oem cap the light is back on..no fault of the actual cap just not sure what my next step should be..the light on drives me crazy!

Exactly Like The Old One
This is an Original Equipment from Manufacturer (OEM) gas cap, so it is exactly the same as the one that came with the vehicle when brand new. It is an exact replacement part, so there is no guessing on weather it will fit or work correctly. I just removed and replaced the old one.
