I bought this harness for my '99 Dodge Ram Sport (4 headlights). The harness is very well-made, and pretty simple to hook up. My headlights are much brighter now, and draw power directly from the battery. The only issue I have is the length of the wires. I had to route it a bit awkwardly, to reach both headlights. Also, I had to add wiring to reach the positive battery terminal, and ground screws. If the wires were 3-6 inches longer, it would have been perfect. Great setup.

9007 headlight relay wire harness
A 55 watt/65 watt headlight bulbs are simple not bright compared with the factory HID and LED lights on newer vehicles. A solution is to install 80/100 watt "off-road" bulbs to obtain brighter illumination. Aftermarket HID and LED conversion kits is another solution. However, the light disbursal pattern may be off. 80/100 watt bulbs require roughly twice the current (amps) compared to the original 55/65 watt bulbs. The existing wires may be too small resulting is greater voltage drop and the potential for damaging the wires' insulation due to heat. This relay harness will prevent the "meltdown" of wiring and will reduce the voltage drop. The components appear to be good quality. The light bulb socket is heat resistant porcelain (not simply heat resistant plastics). The relay wiring harness, appears to be a great buy for the money. I recommend changing out the fuses to a much lower amperage rating according to vehicle fuse specifications. Update!!! After trying to install the relay wiring harness, the wires were almost 9" too short. After removing two wires to replace with longer wires, I replaced all wiring from the relay sockets because they were aluminum and crimped. I also replaced all wires in the relay socket holders, and headlight sockets. I soldered stranded copper wires to the terminal lugs and headlight sockets.
