Works, but not so accurate
Fits the John Deere 430 diesel fuel tank neck okay, fits snugly and clearly identifies the need for diesel fuel only...BUT the gauge itself is not accurate. When tank is completely full, the gauge reads anywhere from 3/4 full to full. Even so, it is true to JD design and beats measuring fuel in the tank with a stick.

this cap fits, but fuel guage doesnt work
this cap fit the opening of the fuel tank, but with 3/4 of a tank of diesel in it, the gauge didnt even register. the slide functions on the cap but is not long enough to reach the fuel level. this did not bother me enough to contact seller,all i was looking for was something to cover the opening. just a heads up for anyone else with a model 430.

Good stopper, seals well. Gauge is quite approximate, but is pessimistic at least! Same as OEM parts, so you can't do any better from what I've seen.
