Great for DIY'ers
The John Deere Maintenance Kit is a great value and easy to use. Everything is there in the kit for you to tune-up your tractor. I normally took my tractor to the dealer. I saved myself over $200 by doing it myself. I'm not a handy person, but I was able to do it myself.

Just go to the store and buy it separately.
Terrible kit. Spark plugs aren’t even in small boxes just loose and get damaged so be prepared to re gap them urself. And oil filter ring gets cardboard shavings all over it being loose in box as well. Super unhappy with it I’ll goto the store and get individually next time.

This may be a little more expensive than running and getting every thing needed piece by piece, but for me it is perfect. I have every thing I need for either my fall or spring tune up. Depends on when I do it. Everything is exactly what is needed for the maintenance of your John Deere and it is all original product from John Deere. I love it. Works great for me and I have it all done in about an hour. A man that is mechanical could probably do it quicker. Definitely complete, everything needed to do complete maintain engine maintenance.
Though complete, spark plugs and fuel filter were loose in the box. Last time I bought kit, fuel filter was in plastic bag, sparkplugs in smaller boxes---all better protected for shipping.
