Wrong sized air filter
Air filter was 1/2 inch too tall. At local J Deere shop they showed me how there were two motors used on lx255 and the shorter one was for my mower. So I bought it and it fit perfectly. It wasn't listed that way on here. The rest of the kit was good, but it don't save me money because the wrong sized filter wouldn't work.

Better packaging would help
All the items arrived unbroken, however I was surprised to find the spark plug loose in the box with no protection. Clearly the spark plug had bounced around and bumped into the other items as the gap was way off! What happened to pregapped spark plugs with aprotective sleeve or cover?
