Absolutely worth the money.
Bought this carb to replace the one on a 15yr old John Deere trimmer that had not run in about 12 yrs. Since it was so old, the rebuild kits were not accurate (needed the proper pin valve) and the cost of the rebuild kits was almost as much as this complete carb. Installed it, primed it, via the primer bulb, fired right up!! Only needed a minor idle adjustment. It's cool...
Bolted it on and started right up. Only issue was needing to trim the size of the choke lever, to fit inside the plastic, carb cover. I pulled the lever off the shaft, and cut the handle portion, in about half - still big enough to operate - and pushed it back on the the shaft. This was on a John Deere powerhead unit.
