It was made of 1090 steel, normalized heat treated, quenched and tempered It was burned , wedged & epoxied one the original handle with leather bolster Blade cuts paper easily Blade has been blued There is a smell of perfume on the sheath Kris and sheath are solid with no movement Blade can be inverted and sheath will hold without falling out
