Seller Notes: “Good-Very Good overall antique cond: There are a few very slight breaks in the paper which aren't ... “Good-Very Good overall antique cond: There are a few very slight breaks in the paper which aren't tears but breaks in the paper at the folded crease running vertically down the middle of the map & 2 sm tears in the paper coming in from the right & left lower margins of the paper's edge. The back of the map at the center shows an old repair (cut-out paper affixed to the map down the crease for structural support) at the back to prevent the map from further tearing, coming in from the bottom & top of the folded crease, which had weakened the paper at the fold over time. It's dated 1860 marked in the left bottom corner. The map most likely came from a lg folio, bound atlas, as it shows a center fold & marked P. (page) 14 on top right corner. Width handwriting 'Clinton' on the off center bottom in graphite pencil .”
