It's comfortable and easy to use. Eco-friendly and reusable. Much safer than using a tampon. I have a low uterus. So I cannot have sex with it in. On heavy days I have to dump it every 2 hours. On regular days I can keep it on for 4-8 hours overnight. I even wear a light pad with it just in case it overflows. I don't suggest you leave it in for 12 hours because it can overflow and be messy.

The good: This is really comfortable unlike traditional funnel-shaped menstrual cups, so that you really can forget that you're wearing it. Very unobstrusive. The kind of annoying: Its shape means that removal is going to be pretty messy. You have to get over whatever qualms you might have about the stuff that comes out of your body. Also, be VERY CAREFUL around auto-flush toilets and porta-potties! The bad: It leaks more than I would like. I definitely know how to position it properly at this point, but I still have to wear a maxi pad with it, especially on the first day. I really wish I knew how to make it leak less. Is it worth it? I'd still say yes, because it's sustainable and very comfortable. They just need to improve the design before they expect it to be adopted widely.

I am not a stranger to cups and this is not a great cup. I wanted to be more environmentally friendly use with this reusable cup but the rim is too soft to get it in easily, it bends as i try to insert. Once in, even when i tuck it behind my pubic bone it still slips out of place during any activity, sex too. I’m going back to one use cups for sexy time and my diva cup for other times.

I really like this disc. I have long nails that make menstral cup use a little difficult. I also think this disc is easier to insert and take out than menstral cups are. This really makes periods so much easier to deal with as you can basically set it and forget it. I figured I'd like it but I didn't know I'd be this pleased!

I've had 8 kids. I suffered infections from IUDs for years and due to hypertension and previous cancer, I can't take estrogen. I use the ziggy cup as a diaphragm and it's the most comfortable and easiest to use, even with my inverted uterus. I understand that the manufacturer did not produce the ziggy cup as a prophylactic device, but that's how my husband and I use it to plan each of our children so that they were 2 years apart like clockwork.
