It doesn’t work on all stair types
Do I recommend it? Depends! Before buying, you must know this only works on stairs where the rest is ample enough to maneuver the chair and turn 90 degrees. We have an L shape stair and this chair was not able to turn because there was no space to tilt it again onto the second portion of the stairs. Maybe I missed it but I wish there were more details on the limitations of this product. I also don’t believe it can be managed by only one person, specially if the person is heavyset. Not recommended for someone that is not tall and strong
I recently moved into a bldg with stairs and I own a hair salon. I needed it for my clients to be able to get into the salon, there are 7 stairs leading into my salon. I watched all the videos and it made it look like it was going to be fairly easy to use. Well unfortunately that is not the case! I am 5ft tall and I put a 170lb person in the chair and the poor person when we reached the top of the stairs was laying on their back looking up at the ceiling, I could not lift them to the upright position. Also at the bottom of the stairs there is an interior entry mat and the chair kept slipping on that to try to get leverage to get to the stairs. The treads don't expand out far enough for the person to not be laying in almost a prone position on the way up the stairs. Going down was equally ... Really useful and portable
It helps me take my parents to their hospital appointments and places that I can’t take regular wheelchair. It has fix tracks that are locked. So no chance of slipping. I have used carpeted, concrete and wood steps and it climbs effortlessly. I do have a narrow walkway and stairs. It just works.

Great quality and works so easily. Received and open the box and what you know already assembled and no tool need came fully charge. I bought this for my wife because she had hard time going up the stairs. Now I’m able to take up and down the stair easily with a little work by holding the lift and operating the button going up and down. It would take my wife an hour to get up but now with this I’m able to take her up in 5-10 mins. Really this thing is build so well and the cost was better than the other item. Thank you And yes it work on carpet and turn so easily when you operate. The railing system was going to cost me $thousand but this work just as good.Great quality and works so easily. Exactly what I needed!
