I'm using this with a DSLR and I don't use large telephoto lenses so I need a stable tripod but size is priority of stability as it relates to large video or large lens equipment. So this is just the right size. It comes with a nice carry case.I like the two handle controls. Takes a little extra effort when you have to pack it away in the case but it is not a big deal. It is well-constructed. Good materials. Tight fitting. Tripods are hard to recommend because it depends on what you are planning to do with it but for general digital photography with a DSLR or smaller camera, this is a nice design point.

Excellent quality all around. Light weight but yet very sturdy. My one complaint would be that the attach nut on the quick release is very short so i had to remove the cushioning so that it could attach to my Alpen 788 scope. The scope has a slightly recessed female bolt which is partially to blame. Otherwise i am a very happy birder and look forward to using it.

Light, Strong. Fits easily in suitcase and backpack. Note: make sure swivel locks are tight when not in use! They can slowly unscrew when jostled while hiking or blking

Most of the tripod is in like-new condition, and everything operates as intended. It looks like the original owner may have tried to force one of the two handles that tighten or loosen for pivoting of the head. As a result there is some undue wear on one side (see photo). It may cause the mechanism to wear out sooner than it should, but it doesn't affect the operation of the tripod. I'm very pleased with the purchase.
