If you don't want to spend big dollars on an original this will fill the void in your collection to work on the M1917. Too new looking out of the box so it takes a little aging, steel wool, 1000 grit, oil dirt and a little scorching of wood will at least make it look used. After a little grinding it fit the rifle nice. I read in some cases it fits right out of box. Guess it depends on the rifle. Once aged a little it looked good on rifle. Good quality material. Would recommend.

The fullers on both sides were not straight nor were they correct lengths. The spine was thinner than the M1917 bayonet. Markings were well pressed however being a replica the markings understandingly were not consistent with issued M1917 bayonets. Wood was of similar grips of issued M1917 bayonets however they were thicker when compared with originals. I returned the item and do not recommend it unless your need is not as stringent.
