this is the very best superman series ever to come out. Doomsday was the perfect villain, so powerful he had to be taken to the end of time to stop him. generations to come will still want to go back to the moment when our most beloved hero died.

I bought this book when it hit my LCS back when and what started as a fantastic read on a new super bad-guy, also marked a turning point for Superman, as the Doomsday story arc was also the Death of Superman's prelude. Super (pardon the pun:)) art work and a great beginning to what has passed into Superman's comic book legend.
