Winched a few trees up the hill and the winch does the job. It would be nice if the supplied hook fit over the strain relief on the end of the rope. The feed threw's on the control box are all loose, so I doubt is as water proof as specified. It also looks like the wiring is aluminum, so it will probably corrode in short order. All fixable stuff, but I shouldn't need to.

The winch is powerful and great to use. Be weary of the included fairlead, it will strip the synthetic cable and weaken it. Mine snapped after a week of use. If you are getting this, make sure to get a roller fairlead, it will save you lots of trouble.

This was very respectful of the seller. after installing the wench, with a new battery, there was nothing but clicking from the wench. Through no fault of the seller, I had to send the wench back.
