Overall, this Kenwood receiver is borderline OK. The installation for my Hyundai Elantra went smoothly. Worked the first time I powered it up. However, the LED/Display brightness is a problem. You can hardly read the display in daylight. And, if there is bright sun, forget it. The original OEM receiver had a much brighter display. There are adjustments for the brightness and dimming, but I have maxed out the settings. The display is still not bright enough. Some of the controls are cumbersome too. You need to toggle through several inputs using the on/off switch to get to "CD". A real pain when you can't read the display. I would not recommend this receiver.

This would be a fantastic head unit if you could see anything on the display! It's ok at night but even on a cloudy day I have to strain to read the display. I am not able to utilize the adjustable screen color feature because only the bright white color can vaguely be seen during the day. I DO NOT recommend this stereo to anyone and I am shocked that Kenwood would allow this product to represent their name on the market.

I liked this stereo when I bought it for one of my cars and just bought a second one. The blue tooth is awesome when you are driving and easy to use. Take that phone out of your hands and use this stereo instead

Perfect, my son loves it!

I really like the features in this receiver but the system lighting is so weak that it is impossible to read in the daytime.
