Lord Of The Vampires is the third book in the Trilogy on the Family Dracul #1 Covenant with the Vampire (The Diaries of the Family Dracul) #2 Children of the Vampire (The Diaries of the Family Dracul) were the other two books. I quite enjoyed this series because it lacked the usual horror/fantasy/blood and gore of the general novels of Vlad the Impaler aka Count Dracula and focuses more on the historial aspects of the legend; though still maintains the sensuality of the lore. For all accounts a most excellent read by a writer who apparently not only knows her folklore but also a working knowledge of geographical locations. If there is a down side to this read it would be that the author could have continued writing several more books on the subject and the reader still would have been left wanting more.Read full review
