This bulb never reached the color advertised it would reach. No markings on packaging as to color temp of bulb. No markings found on the bulb upon installation. Had bulb shatter upon removal for inspection of markings per seller. Seller did not provide any further assistance beyond that. Even though I broke the bulb I still do not believe that the correct bulb was sent. Seller went dark through messages and has blocked me from their store. Big F for this seller.

Very nice
I don't have a drilled aquarium and have tried other protein skimmers. This is large but thin, doesn't take up a lot of room. I like that the intake and output don't splash water around on the lid. Took about 24 hours and adjusting the pump air valve to get it to start collecting/skimming.

MUST HAVE MICRO BUBBLE CATCHER/ INSTRUCTIONS
Its works great after you buy a micro bubble trap, i built one, also the odyssea needs instructions saying where the bubble hose goes, most power heads go from the side of the stem, this one you must put in front of the head, BUT it works so good that way, there are 3outlets, (top) works great,cheap!! Must have bubble catcher in the breakin period, takes a week or so!! Goodluck!! I rarely write reviews. But this product surprised me. I needed a new protein skimmer. A friend gave me an extra one he had. I was dubious because it was an off brand. I was wrong. It took about a week or so for the micro bubbles to go away. In that time I had to clean the collection cup twice. It was removing so much gunk that I didn't even know was in my tank. When he told me how much it cost I was shocked. Less than half the price of a reef octopus. I would definitely recommend it.I rarely write reviews. But this product surprised me. Good inexpensive skimmer
Read all the reviews prior to purchase. Overall I am glad I decided to give this product a try. Easy to set up even without directions. Worked immediately...producing foam and skimmate within an hour of setting up. Micro bubbles are present even with a bit of filter foam attaching the return but minimal and much better imo than the funk the skimmer is pulling out of the system. Not overly loud either. At the end of the day seems a simple but solid skimmer for a decent price point.Read all the reviews prior to purchase. Overall I am glad I decided to give this product a try. So I have to tell you, when I first took it out of box I was pretty impressed. This thing is built solid. Bigger than expected but not overwhelming. No instructions but is very easy to figure out. Just look at picture. It works and works very well. Was concerned about it being square and a cylinder shaped. Its not an issue. It took 48 hours before it started skimming. Overall, its well worth the money.So I have to tell you, when I first took it out of box I was pretty impressed. This thing is built solid. Bigger than expected but not overwhelming.
