I recently purchased a good used copy of this 3-disc box set online, and I'm very pleased with it. The things I like about it: (1) The song selection is very good; besides the standard classics such as "Whole Lotta Love", "Immigrant Song", "Stairway to Heaven", "Kashmir", etc., you get a number of classic album tracks, like "Heartbreaker", "Celebration Day", "Since I've Been Loving You", "The Battle of Evermore", and "Nobody's Fault but Mine". The band's entire recording career is covered, from 1969's"Led Zeppelin" to 1979's "In Through the Out Door". (2) The packaging, a longbox containing three discs, is georgous. They used mainly a lot of pictures of the famous crop-circles with the Zeppelin shadow on the front cover, only in many different mixed colors, giving the set an almost psychedelic look. The labels on the discs themselves are similarly attractive. (3) The sound quality is, again IMO, quite good too. I compared the two songs "Celebration Day" and "Since I've Been Loving You" from the "Remasters" compilation, to the same tracks on the 1994 remaster of "Led Zeppelin III", listening to the first couple of minutes of each track several times, and I think "Remasters" stood up pretty well to the more recent remaster. I should add, however, that I'm no audiophile or expert, and I'm sure some other reviewers who have top-of-the-line stereo equipment, and who are more knowledgeable, would have more to say. As for things I don't like about the set: (1) I find it a bit more difficult on this box set to lift the CD's out of the disc tray inside the longbox, due to the design. However,it's not THAT hard, and shouldn't really be a factor for most people in deciding whether or not to purchase it. (2)The track "When the Levee Breaks" is left out. I regard this song as one of Zeppelin's great classics, and it deserved to be included. But maybe it's not really possible to fit all the great tracks recorded by Zeppelin into a mere two compact discs! As for the third disc contains an interview with the three surviving band members, concerning topics such as the 1990 remastering of the band's entire studio recordings, the 4-disc box set, and also some bits of biographical comments about the band's formation, history, the musical roots of each individual in the band, etc. Overall, in my view, "Remasters" is fine for anyone who wants a 2-disc compilation of Led Zeppelin's best songs, and the third disc will be interesting to serious fans. Although it's out of print now, it shouldn't be too hard to find online, on eBay, etc.Read full review

Led Zeppelin Remasters is a 3 CD collection that has a lot of great material that you just cannot find anywhere else... Jimmy Page is some sort of perfectionist, and is constantly readjusting the master tapes to get the "sound" he is looking for... You can hear all about it on the 3rd CD disc... Like the title says, it is a 5 out of 5. Robert Plant could read the phone book, and if Page were in the lead guitar position, it would probably go platinum overnight... JMHO
This is a Very Good Boxed set. Lots of Great Songs by the Group! Classic Rock at its Best!
