Card has taken the venerable sf concepts of a superman and interstellar war against aliens, and, with superb characterization, pacing and language, combined them into a seamless story of compelling power. This is Card at the height of his very considerable powers--a major sf novel by any reasonable standards., "Card has taken the venerable sf concepts of a superman and interstellar war against aliens, and, with superb characterization, pacing and language, combined them into a seamless story of compelling power. This is an outstanding seller to deal with. Fair prices that are more than reasonable in this economy. The product is in better condition than described, a true value for my money. Packaged and shipped well shows seller has concern for the products he sells to arrive in excellent condition. The seller is friendly and communicates timely with his customers. I highly recommend this seller and would do business again anytime. Thank you.

Excellent seller -- good communication, item exactly as described, reasonably priced, well packed. Seller shipped immediately but the book took over half a month to arrive, due to the carrier used on the first leg, to get the package to USPS.

  • Great book

I bought this book for a book club I am in. It is one that really makes you think. I really enjoyed reading it and made time for it even with my busy schedule and small children. It is a science fiction book that takes place in the future when the world's population is high and people are only aloud to have 2 children. Ender is a 3rd child to his parents and ridiculed by peers because of it. His parents were given permission to have him because they had the genetic makeup to create a genius that they hopped would help them save the world. This is a story of Enders military training and the battles within his mind as to whether he is a violent monster, or a kind loving child.

  • Ender's Game Review

This book is an excellent read. From the very beginning of the book Orson Scott Card launches into a story of shear originality and weaves a remarkable tale that will keep you guessing at every turn. Ender wiggin is the government's only hope of saving the world from destruction by the Buggers--an alien race that has threatened the existence of earth once before. Now, in desperation, the government has taken Ender away from everything that he has ever known and loved by placing him in a top secret training program, hoping agaist hope that he will be the one to save the world from total anihilation. Ender must learn to overcome opposition from every corner to face the challenge at hand and the battle inside as he is launched into a race against time.

  • psychologically stimulating and unique

Good science fiction book for people who like fantasy and sci-fi. Besides being a story book there's a lot of psycological tactical warfare in this book which is nice and intellectually stimulating, overall a nice book but calmer and less thrilling than action/adventure books. I liked it but i think it could have benefitted from more action and suspense scenes like the hunger games.

  • Very good fantasy/ military book.

I love the original world that Orson Scott Card has made for the book. The book was phenominal and i highly reccomend it.
