Seven years after its arcade release, Super Street Fighter II Turbo makes its way to the Game Boy Advance, complete with new features and an updated interface. All 16 characters from the original are playable, from old favorites like Ryu and Chun-Li to newcomers like Dee Jay and Fei Long. <br><br>When the game begins, players can select between Arcade, Training, and Vs. modes, but additional options can be unlocked through the "VS points" system. Winning battles earns points based on the speed and method of your victory, and these points can be used to reveal extra modes, including Time Attack, Mission, Bonus, Character Edit, and Team Battle. VS points and unlocked modes are retained between play sessions via SRAM. <br><br>In order to accommodate the GBA's four action buttons (as compared to the arcade game's six), Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival uses a modified control system in which light attacks are accomplished by pressing a button quickly, and pressing it longer for medium attacks. There is also an option for a simplified control scheme in which special moves can be performed with basic button presses instead of complicated controller combinations.

    Great hand held port!

    I love the Street Fighter series. I grew up with the arcade games and I love my home console versions. Street Fighter 2 Turbo Revival for the gameboy advance is a combination of all my favorite aspects of the franchise.

    Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival Ed. (GBA & DS)

    If you need A fighting game to play while on the go.. then this one may be okay for you to run as long as you aren't expecting to get six button control over your moves, awesome graphics and you don't really mind that the cartridge has a tendency to freeze up the operation of your portable gaming system. If you have to have this than here is a tip buy it used and only for as cheap as you can get it because even the new versions run in the second rate way that I described above.

    Great Throwback classic Street Fighter Series

    Awesome game, graphics like the SNES version maybe a tad better. Play Street Fighter on a gameboy advance is nothing like it. A true classic!
