I do not know this seller. I have a 830LE. I love it. There are a lot of negative written about the 830 embroidery machines. My advice is, get to know it. It has many challenges. It also has many features. It can be intimidating. Study it, study it. Watch you tube, read the manual and take the mastery course if you can. I am a 77 yr old man who never sewed anything. I jumped into it because it had a jillion features. For several months, I considered selling it at almost a giveaway price. Then I started learning little things. One lady who teaches using these machines said she cleans the bobbin area every morning. She said she puts in a new needle before every new project. Another person said if the little mirrored dots on the bobbins get scratched off, replace them. Following these little bits of advice has sllved many problems that I have had. After I used this for about a year, i slowly learned a lot about it and now I think it is one of Berninas best combination sew/embroidery machines. I still have an occasional issue which almost always ends up being my fault. I also found out that some threads dont want to thread with the auto threader. They sew just fine but I dont know why, but when I use Isacord embroidery thread, it threads almost 100% on the first try, if it does miss the first time it will thread the second try. Dont forget a drop of oil per recommendations. Buy a hundred needles and dont be afraid to change them. Buy some new bobbins and throw away any that bring up a bobbin error and has a scratch on their little mirrored dots. These little silver dots are being constantly read as the machine is running. There is a lot of arithmetic taking place in its cpu. If it misses these signals, it will shut down. I have lost sleep over this machine. I have learned enough to know that I wouldn't trade it for any of the newer ones. I have played around with a great newer model, the 790. I like mine better. These are some of my notes. Make up your own mind.Read full review

This is a fantastic sewing/embroidery machine. The stitches are even and tension is perfect. It does have a background hum but after all it is a 10 year old machine. Great value for the money.

This Bernina is a beast. It far exceeds my quilting abilities right now, but give me a couple of months and I will be able use all its functiins.

This is not a beginners machine unless you are willing to learn, use the books, watch you tube, practice! It makes beautiful stitches, it does amazing embroidery. It's worth the time you put into using it, people will not believe what yiu made yourself.
