Camera was brand dew as described. Great price! My issue came with the shipping process. It shipped out fast but the seller requires an in person signature. They will not allow for pickup at a local shipping store and won't reroute to a different address. I had to take a day off work to wait for the package. It also delayed me getting the camera by about 5 days. For that reason I won't do business with the seller again.

The best Canon camcorder that I own
I have owned a small, professional video production company for over 20 years. I mostly record events but have been increasing my corporate client base as well. I own A Canon XA10, XA20, XF100, and now the XA30, and it is my favorite camera for the vast majority of jobs that I do. It has great image quality & I love the 2 new "looks" options in the image effects menu (highlight priority & wide DR). It is also the best low light performer of all 4 camcorders. I actually paid less for this camcorder than any of the other models that I own but that's probably because 4K is becoming more popular & this only records in HD. I am blown away at canon putting so much technology into a compact camcorder. It's a marvel of engineering.
I've yet to record any footage since I've just had it for a few short hours, but the design and functionality of the XA30 camcorder is exactly what I was looking for and then some. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
