The cardioid and omnidirectional polar patterns of the Sony C-800G are user-switchable at the front, allowing complete pick-up control for instrument and vocal capturing. With a frequency response of 20 Hz – 18 kHz, this Sony microphone effectively covers a wide spectrum of audible frequencies. Owing to a high sensitivity of -33dB/Pa, this tube condenser microphone is extremely receptive to loud sounds.
