The seller was concerned about shipping this almost hundred year old clock because of potential damage to the mechanism or other handling damage. So he personally drove it to me 3 1/2 hours away by car. Also, as he was cleaning it up prior to delivery, he noticed it not running as it had in the past. He immediately took the clock to a specialist who offered a $900 repair, which would delay delivery. The seller offered to pay with my understanding that delivery would be delayed. I’m so impressed
