    Not Worth the Price

    I am an avid doll collector. This doll is better in the pictures than in person. She is a barbie and therefore small. It is true her dress is beautiful and well done. However, the swag across her dress is tacked n such a way as to pull. In the box you do not see the train is plain and over powers her dress in the back. People are asking ridiculous prices for this doll. SHE is not worth the money. The fabric is not special, her shoes are plain, and even though she is a limited edition, there is nothing about this doll to rate over a $100. Really sorry I bought her. Spend your money on a true work of art.

    This Barbie is worth a Kings ransom!

    I have many Barbie dolls in my collection but the Marie Antoinette doll is so much more than a Barbie doll, it is truly a work of art! After its debut 10 years ago it is still commanding some of the highest prices in the secondary collectors market. If you are going to collect a doll and spend a chunk of change...I highly recommend this doll! To me she has extraodinary details in her jeweled necklace that makes it look like it is worth a Kings ransom! The multiple layers of her soft blue ball gown are tufted up with bows and tassels that create a one of a kind dress that looks like it is for 18th century royalty!
