I've been listening to Bayside for years. This album introduced me to them. I think it's one of their strongest releases ever. If you're interested in checking out this band I think b this album is a great place to start. If you enjoy it you'll probably be instantly hooked on the rest of their material. The newer albums are a bit less raw, but they've stayed true to their sound over all these years.

Ah, a much better album than 'Sirens and Condolences.' They have a much more diverse sound now and their songs don't focus on death. This is a very welcome change. My only complaint about the CD is that since it is better, I want to hear more. I want more songs!!! Haha. On a sad note though, the drummer of the band died in a tragic car accident in Wyoming a short time ago. You need this CD (if not to add to your collection, at least to preserve the memory of a great drummer). In the same accident, two other band members broke their backs. So this may be Bayside's last CD. Buy it!
This is my favorite album of all time. If you are interested in bayside and you haven't heard this one yet, then you will just fall in love with their sound. The lyrical depth only adds to the intensity of the album and every track will have you thinking.
