Since its release date on November 23, 2004, "World of Warcraft" from Blizzard Entertainment has gone on to redefine the MMORPG genre. If you're looking to get into the action for the first time, you'll want the "World of Warcraft" Collector's Edition. This PC game will let you play up to level 60, which is over 100 hours of content. You'll also have access to almost every race and character class. In "World of Warcraft," the story takes place directly following the events of "Warcraft III." Players can choose a side, either the noble Alliance or the villainous Horde. You'll travel to over 30 zones in Azeroth, each with over 50 quests to complete. As an MMORPG, you'll play with thousands of other players at the same time. If you ever need assistance completing a quest, help is only a chat box away.You'll start out this gaming experience by choosing a character. You can select from historic "Warcraft" races such as humans, orcs, the undead, and elves. After selecting your skin color, hair, and facial features, you'll choose a class. Classes range from melee characters like the warrior to ranged fighters like the hunter. After that, the world is open to you. You'll have a variety of zones to choose from with quests ranging from collecting items to killing monsters. There is a main quest to follow that involves the battle against the Lich King. When you've completed all of the quests, you can try your hand at one of the game's many dungeons. These dungeons are designed for five players and feature scripted content and boss characters. This digital adventure is about more than just fighting as there are many collectibles in the world. You can select a pet to follow you from the hundreds available or find a stylish mount. The Collector's Edition of "WoW" is full of rare content. For starters, you'll get a copy of the game on both CD and DVD formats. You'll get to choose an exclusive in-game pet from three choices: a Zergling, a Panda Cub from Pandaria, or a Mini Diablo. Show off one of these pets in town to let others know that you're an owner of the "WoW" Collector Edition. You'll need help finding your way around when you're new, which is why Blizzard included a cloth map. This Collector's Edition cloth map even includes a metal clasp. A lot of work went into making a game as massive as "WoW," and this Collector's Edition lets you peek behind the curtain. The Collector's Edition Behind-the-Scenes DVD includes concept art, drawings, a manual, and commentary from Blizzard developers. The art of "World of Warcraft" consists of a 280-page book that includes beautiful illustrations in full color. The "WoW" soundtrack CD lets you listen to the game's tunes at any time. This Collector's Edition is an excellent introduction to this long-running title. The huge number of bonus items in this video game package makes it a must-own for newcomers, fans, and collectors.

    New WoW Original 2004 Collectors Edition

    Basically, This is the best MMORPG ever made if you ask me, however this is the only game I have ever played besides Diablo 2LOD, and tuns of console games. If you are lucky enough to get one of these in New condition or at least one where the CD key is still unused I recommend buying it asap since these have been out of print for almost 7 years now. The game is playable on almost any computer now days and has 100s of features you can use to make your game experience more enjoyable on whatever platform computer you have. The character customization is out of this world, with soo many different character/class combinations along with soo many different features about your character you can change.     A True Collector's Edition

    Unlike any of the other expansions that were released, this Collector's Edition was the only one that produced limited copies. You can verify this by looking up any of the other expansion Collector's Editions and comparing the rarity/pricing for them. I love the fact that this Collector's Edition comes with a cloth map of what Azeroth looked like prior to all of the expansions. It adds an extra layer of nostalgia to also see the art book which contains a lot of concept art for creatures/areas that may not have necessarily looked the same when finalized in-game. All in all, this Collector's Edition is the only one that truly earns its name. Those who own it should feel a sense of satisfaction and gratification.

    Three awesome and very rare in-game pets, Three feats of Strength. BOOYAHH.

    The original vanilla collector edition is cool since it gives background information on the making of WoW with the behind the scenes dvd and art book. The main part of this which is awesome is the three in-game pets, Mini-Diablo, Zergling and Panda Cub. You also get a feat of strength with learning each pet, so three feats of strength. These are very rare and catch people's attention when they see them. Mini-Diablo has a title "Lord of Terror" under his name which is cool. The zergling also will fight to the death with the grunty space marine murloc pet from the 2009 blizzcon. Zergling is melee and grunty is ranged so if the zergling is close enough he will kill grunty pretty much 100% of the time and at a distance grunt likewise will kill the zergling pretty much 100% of the time.     Amazing collectors edition for any WoW fan or new player eager to collect

    A great piece of World Of Warcraft(WoW) history. The original WoW collectors box is becoming increasingly hard to find in great condition but the price is always worth it. The WoW cloth map included is a very rare piece of memorabilia before Azeroth had changed much. Original soundtracks and artist designs. This item is a real WoW fans best friend. Owning a piece of vanilla wow memories of fighting with 40 people or fighting onyxia and her demonic whelps. This collectors edition is by far the best available in the blizzard series.
