Designed as a replacement for the SNES, the N64 featured powerful in-game speeds and killer graphics for its time. It was a serious upgrade from the 16-bit sprite-based graphics. The N64 propelled gaming into a new era of 64-bit polygon imaging with its formidable CPU and GPU combo. At 93.75 MHz and 15,000 polygons, the N64 had an impressive boost in processing speed and imaging than its predecessor. Because of its quick CPU and realistic 3D graphics, the Nintendo 64 console became valuable to gamers around the world. With a total of 338 games released for the Nintendo 64 video game console, you always have something to play. Its classic ROM-based gaming cartridges allow for faster load times and smoother gameplay. Ranging from 4 to 64MB, some Nintendo 64 cartridges even allow players to save their in-game progress onto them. Their sturdy, compact design makes them hard to accidentally damage. This, along with the N64's solid-state design and few moving parts, made this console an incredibly durable system. One of its most original advancements was its inclusion of an analog stick on its controller, allowing for full 360-degree movement. The Nintendo 64 was the first console to include an analog stick, a now common feature in all game controllers. Its comfortable controller design also includes a slot for the optional Rumble Pak.     Saved the Holiday season!

    My fiancée had her console collection stolen earlier this year and the pikachu n64 was her jewel. I got this hoping to fill that void and it absolutely exceeded expectations! Everything in the pictures was in the box and in beautiful condition! The analog stick on the controller was perfect too! There was even a nice handwritten note inside and everything was beautifully bubble wrapped.

    Pokemon N64

    The only reason I give it 3 stars is because I had to go and get the games cleaned so I could play them. Initially I thought that there was a problem with the console, but that was not the case. It was the games that were messed up. Once I got the games cleaned the console worked fine. All the right cords were sent and all of it plugged in properly. It was a little beat up and dirty, but nothing too bad. Overall a good buy for the price and all that was included.

    A little hiccup, but overall, very lovely!

    The system itself works great, a little dusty, but overall, in superb condition. The only problem was the AV cord that came with it wouldn't work, with any of the three televisions we tried it on (one newer, one older and a really ancient one). However, the AV cord for my Gamecube served as a replacement and everything works fine. The games work, the microphone for Hey, You Pikachu works fine and all in all, it was a perfect deal. Aside from the AV cord, but otherwise, it's fantastic and I am very happy with my purchase. c:

    Great buy for any vintage gaming collector!!

    This is a great vintage treat for any Pokemon fan who loves the old gaming systems. I bought this for my 7 year old son for Christmas because he loves Pikachu and I knew the old N64 games would be easy for him to navigate and a lot more wholesome than mist of the games made today. If a 7 year old can easily navigate it, anyone else can too. No issues loading, and it's adorable!!
