Measuring with a new Korg TM60 and its contact microphone accessory, the fork was 320 Hz. Paid over 26 dollars and got a second-rate piece cut with a dull milling cutter between the tines and coarse sanded on all flat exterior sides. Had to file the ends of the tines to bring it up to 432 Hz. Now I have tuned it and smooth sanded it and made it presentable for myself. I wanted the sense of achievement rather than exchange it for another one like it. Next fork I buy will be straight from India or China and I can tune it myself, all at half the price. The perfect fifth above the fundamental is still way too prominent. I got a steel fork from China that sounds much better, with a dominant fundamental and with rounded edges and smooth surfaces.

This tuning fork emitted sound with the lightest touch, I found not believe my ears which was picking up on the sound before I ever struck it!

Very profound (re overpowering) first harmonic overtone. The fundamental was useable but quite weak.

The sound is very soothing. I plan to use it more but have not had any healing yet.
