Spend The Extra Bit Of Money
It's all in the magnet. You only think you are saving a few bucks buying other brushes. But are you really saving anything when they don't get the crud off and you end up buying this one anyway? I had algae build up so thick in my 125g reef tank so bad I couldn't see my fish. My cheap brush just rolled right over it even with hours of rubbing. So, I ordered this one and after 5-6 min, crystal clear glass, The powerful magnet made all the difference...Also, the option to mount a scraper blade is nice. I ordered some of those too but as well as the brush works, I'm not sure if I really need them. Fantastic product. And if I ever shut down my fish tank, I can use the magnet for magnet fishing in the river and creeks around here :)It's all in the magnet. Excellent for cleaning glass.
The algae magnet is designed very well. It is great to clean a tank’s glass without having yo open the top or get your hands wet. The only down side is that the fish do get scared by it, but that shouldn’t be an issue for them.
