Nice radio. Purchased it as a backup unit and it perfectly fits. Couple of notes: There is a limited amount of channels that can be associated with the ZONE (32 as far as i remember) Same limitation is for the SCAN GROUP channel list Other than that - perfect DMR radio for that price. J

Units arrived with out-of-date firmware. One would think new units would be loaded with the latest firmware. I have experience with DMR radio setup and without that experience I would have had to have help getting the units up and running. That is probably true for most DMR radios. Go to the internet for help. If you need to add 150,000 contacts this isn't the radio for you. Sound quality isn't as good as the more expensive units but good for the price. Units are light and a good size that fits the hand. These radios fit my needs and exceeded my expectations for the price point. I use these units more than my TYT and Any Tone radios because of the size and weight. I would purchase again. Taking off one star because of the old firmware.

A very good DMR Radio for the cost! Liked it so much, I bought another one. The dual mode, dual band are a must have.

This is a Fantastic value. I got 2 radios for less than 1.5 times the price of 1! These radios work well too, after a steep learning curve. (My 1st experience with DMR.) I find that I prefer DMR to YSF and once the initial programming is done/learned they are easer to use. Do not expect to program DMR from any radio keypad (a computer is required). I found the FREE downloadable radio programing software easy to learn and use (with help). All in all I'd recommend these as a good bang 4 the buck.
