Symptom: Washer not filling up high enough in the tub, motor not kicking on because of low water level Diagnosis: Water inlet valve solinoid not kicking on, or fowled inlet valve. Appliance repair person wanted $60 for a new valve, not including labor. Such a rip off. I diagnosed the problem, and best solution was a fouled inlet valve. I powered it on and blew air through inlet, it was restricted. Got this one powered the solenoid, and it was not as restrictive. Installed it, fired up the washer, it filled to correct level, and the washer pump started. Whoo hoo! It felt good, troubleshooting and fixing it myself, and not prostrate myself to the appliance repair person.

Received on time. Packed adequately. Works like it's supposed to but seems pricey. The best part is that I was able to install it without having to pull out the dishwasher after watching a couple YouTube installation videos. And, it's not leaking! If you have lots of rust or sediment in your lines, I'd suggest installing an in-line filter. It has a small screen at the front end that could get clogged very quickly.

Appliances these days seem to have built in obsolescence. Repairs become cost prohibitive. Got this part wholesale, skipped the middle man, skipped the appliance man and saved hundreds. Part installed quickly and performs just like new.
