Great waterproof walkie talkie. You won't find anything better than these. God signal strength. be advised that you have to get it pretty close the your mouth in order for the voice to be detected by the device. Remember that it has a membrane that keeps water out, hence waterproof. So don't you think it is damage, just a little modification from traditional walkies and you are out for the adventure.

As mentioned in other reviews, you really need to be close to the mic for people to hear you. Clip is cheaply made and flimsy. One broke immediately upon use. Rechargeable batteries extremely low quality. Was leaking acid in the package and completely unusable if not hazardous. That said , it does work. Fine for playing around and maybe camping trips, but not work or business use.

I returned the radios becasue it was just too Big and Bulky. Not saying it doesn't work well because we needed a reliable 2 way radio in case of emergency for the family but the radio itself was just too Big and Bulky. They are the Biggest 2 way radios I've seen yet. and I do like Cobra stuff. I wish they would continue with the smaller Cobra radios with longer range.
