I've found these earplugs to be good for band rehearsals and performing live (relatively loud rock band)- when not using IEMs, and for listening to other bands live. They let a lot of the high and low frequencies through with just a bit of attenuation, making it possible to hear what you're playing/singing. However they attenuate the high-mid frequencies significantly preventing pain and ringing ears. This is very different than any other ear plug I've used (foam, hearos, etymotics, earpeace)- which are good general noise quieting ear plugs, but not great for music IMO. They're comfortable to wear for hours assuming you get the right size. Sizing is tricky- I ordered Mediums initially based on the seller recommendation (mediums fit most men), but these were too big for me (uncomfortable). Smalls fit well. Not sure how you figure this out prior to buying a set.Read full review

I have APD. Hearing aids cost over $4K out of pocket cost. I use EARasers in places that are loud, lots of people talking, like reception and conference rooms, or sports events. I have a difficult time hearing people talk to me when they are right in front of me. With EARasers I can hear them more clearly and less of the other “stuff”. When traveling my husband turns up the radio too loud for me, I put in my EARasers and can cut down on the white noise of the road and the radio volume. The perk is that the music sounds better too. I keep a pair in my purse at all times. I am 62 years old, newly diagnosed with ADP last year. I wish I knew what I know now in my earlier years, I think I would have been a better student. For the price parents, it is worth the money to try these for your child.Read full review

Normal plugs are too much for my use. I require only to lower sound levels and these are awesome. I will admit, however, that you have to get the right size. I bought medium and they were a bit too large. I don't believe I have small ears. I bought small ones and they were way better. With that said, I can't imagine how big my ear canals would have to be to use anything other than extra small or small. Again, I don't have small ear canals.

Purchased for my husband, help block loud noises at church, concerts, noisy restaurants, etc. Didn't have to leave the house, go looking around for cheap, ugly earplugs. Thanks! Look so much better than the colored ones he picked up at the drugstore!
