I've tried everything with this printer. And had been more than patient. Tutorials, settings recommended, even YouTube videos but this printer just doesn't work. It's frustrating! The software is less than terrible even when working with 'recommended settings'. After weeks of trying I just could get a disgusting block of wasted resin. Don't buy this printer. It's a waste of time and money. I wish I could send it back.

Excellent printer. This is the up-to-date version (V1.5) with improvements and fixes. Originally innovative, and enabled affordable LCD resin 3D printing. I am very happy with the printer, this is an over-performer at this price from monoprice. Some learning/tuning/hands-on recommended to make it really shine. Few specifics include, nanodlp nanosupport chitu build plate leveling mod learn different resins for your preference I did use up the included bottle of resin to get familiar with resin printing, and prefers later on more fluid (less viscous) type of resins.

Out of the box, I had some serious issues with it. It wouldn't connect properly to my computer, and so I couldn't print anything or even display a single layer. I tried both my desktop and laptop. Then I found that NanoDLP on a raspberry pi worked great, and I've been using it for a couple months like that with no issues. If you are up to installing and configuring NanoDLP, this is an absolute bargain. Just make sure the gcode is right for the layers (goes under the resin profiles).

This listing is misleading. Brand new from the manufacturer website the printer is $399. Their claim of an $807 list price is way off base. With this said, the price is attractive for this type of printer. Sorry Monoprice, I love your stuff (I own four of your printers). However, I could not let this go without comment.
