    Nice Functional Microscope Illuminator.

    I was pleased with the configuration and performance of the illuminator . The lighting is very good and the separate control box with on/off and intensity dial was greatly appreciated. Other illuminators I have purchased had the on/off switch on the light ring itself with a power indicator led always on whenever it was plugged in even with the light switched off. My only concern is that the 3 adjustment screws are a little sloppy in the threads and really should be tighter for a more secure mounting.

    Perfect even for vintage scopes

    This was a perfect addition to my 70s era Reichert Stereo Zoom scope. My scope is missing the adapter tube that this lamp clamps on to, but I was able to hold it in place with a small bead of RTV sealant, and it looks perfectly clean and professional. It’s so lightweight that it holds just fine without the tube. The uniformity of the lighting, controllable intensity, and professional appearance of this lamp make it an incredible buy at this price point. I will definitely be purchasing another when my other scope lamp finally goes out.

    Great little light.

    I had to take the shield covering the objectives off in order to get it to work on my scope as the shield tapers down and there is no way to make the light stay on with the shield on, but I expected to have to do that. Once I got the shield off I was able to get the light to stay on and it works great like this.

    A Big Improvement to an Older Microscope

    The LED Ring Light is a really nice upgrade to my older microscope. It's very bright when you need bright, and can be dimmed using the control knob. The mounting diameter will fit over a diameter of up to about 60mm and the clamping screws will clamp on a diameter down to about 30mm.

    Great ring illuminator for stereo zoom microscopes.

    This is a bright LED illuminator which can be easily mounted on the Barlow lens or the illuminator of many stereo zoom microscopes for PCB inspection. It is a great value, good quality and worked perfectly out of the box. It can be mount on any round adapter from 35mm to 55mm or so.
