the probes which come with the Klein multimeter have nice fine tips which make them excellent for taking measurements on a crowded circuit board, but sometimes you need alligator clip leads instead of a probe. These leads provide that capability. This make it easy to monitor voltage or current hands free.

Wires are fine...I would recommend them & would have given 5 stars, but I find the shielding on the screw on clips a bit difficult to deal with, so I just trimmed it back to where I could easily use the clips All In All..these are nice leads
