Might take some practice but it gets you close. For it to not be skewed you must be ... Might take some practice but it gets you close. For it to not be skewed you must be lined up exactly with the trailer. If you can't see the trailer it can be a chore. My name brand hitch did not have a flat enough place to stand the telescoping ball up exactly straight thus when the balls touched you were not under the hitch correctly. After some fiddling around I figured a way to work it so that when the balls touched you were pretty close. Like many trailers that disappear from view when backing up it can help. The telescoping mount could stand to be a tad taller. I suspect that some 4x4 might be too tall to see the balls, mine just barely was visible over the tailgate, Tell us more should have an OK column.
