Looks to be new, even though it was a refurb. Nice bits of oil here and there, barrel shiny and clean. Ran some patches through the bore, was barely soiled. It held air/charge for 3 days thus far. Provided probe has good seals + new ones were also provided. Ordered extra magazines (way too expensive but nice and simple) and all work flawlessly. Top 3 accurate pellets in order- 1)Predator Polymags. 2)JSB Hades. 3)Crosman domed (not hollow-points). Polymags are laser-beams out to 38yds (that’s my range for the moment) . Hole-in-hole bagged. Excellent power - with a long first stage trigger but, well worth the second stage at a 2.3 ounce clean “hunting break”. Very light and comfortable to shoulder. Love my Hatsan’s but this is a true hunter’s carbine. Surprisingly quiet for such power. Drops large tree rodents in their tracks! Fantastic value here! Read full review

This is the best most powerful accurate and economic pcp i have gotten so far. Its easy to carry lightweight.I did have to remove the barrel band to get the scope to adjust. I wise it have more air volume and came in 25 cal. It hits so hard and is damn accurate up to 100 yards easy.. Love this gun....

I have several PCP air rifle, but none of them are as easy to operate and as accurate as the Gamo Urban PCP air rifle. I wish that it would the ability to make more shots. I could only get two full 10 shot magazines on one full tank.

This is a great rifle and absolutely everything I had hoped it would be. Didn't come in original box or owners manual but the rifle it's self was in perfect condition; mine didn't even have a scratch on it. Plenty of grease from the factory (in this case the refurbishment workshop) but that's easily cleaned and to be expected, plus it's a whole lot better then finding rust spots. The rifle feels great to shoulder and I love how compact it is. Last but not least it is very accurate and very quite; you can understand how this could be marketed as a "backyard" friendly air rifle. I can't recommend it enough if you are looking for a good quality hunting rifle that you won't be afraid to lug around all day in the backcountry. (It's a UTG 3-9X32 1" BugBuster Scope incase anyone is curious)

I have been using a Gamo break barrel .177 gun for a couple of years in my back yard. Even with sound suppression it was too loud for my neighbors. I decided to move up to a PCP rifle and started checking reviews and prices on various brands. The GAMO Urban .22 seemed to be a good choice for me. Out of the box it seemed to be of good quality. I liked the trigger weight without any adjustment. I mounted a good scope on it and was amazed at how accurate the gun is. It shoots 1/2 inch groups at 20 yards and is noticeably quieter than my break barrel version. I look forward to going outside to shoot some 50 yard targets tomorrow. I am very happy with this purchase.
