    Thinking tackle...Not.

    Used this a number of times now and i have to say what looked like a quality item at first glance has turned out not to be well thought out at all. Downsides are the padding is lumpy and not soft, so the padding is always very uneven and that means it is hard to stop a carp exited said mat at will! And their is no water drainage, so the angler always ends up being showered in water if the carp even slightly moves. Upsides are, its light, strong base, well padded, easy and easy and quick to close, looks good! Mine is now a guest chair! My advise is.. ignore the bias reviews and get a well padded cradle with good drainage points.

    TA unhooking mat

    I’ve used many mats and cradles before and this is without doubt the best of the lot, we’ll padded, folds down in half and is very light considering the size
