If you plan on putting 24 rods in they will fit but it will be real crowded. I have 11 rods and they fit comfortably in the 24 rod holder. extra slots hold my nets. Rods stand up straight. You may need to make up or down adjustments to the bottom adjustable rack to fit your rods. No instructions I guess it depends on which rods you have. Easy no tool assembly It comes in a small box, You will think it is a piece of junk and it is unstable until assembly is complete then you will love it. Functional but flimsy.
Quality and value appropriate for price. Meets functional needs. However, unit is lightweight, flimsy and lacks stability. This is when used for lightweight walking canes. Fishing rods, especially with reels attached, are crowded and unit becomes more unstable. Acceptable for the price but not particularly outstanding. Quick and easily assembled without tools.

I have 18 rods and almost all have reels on them I do mostly catfishing so thick rods and big reels probably can't fit 24 with reels on in but 20 atlest and some are too tall to have on it put together because ceiling isn't tall enough or I could probably fit 24
