I love that they have heft to them, the metal and detail is good quality (especially on the trooper). Darth has a plastic head and the helmet is metal; this is the only real issue I have, the helmet tends no to stay on very well. Beyond that, detail and quality is excellent.

Different use - I made these into tap handles for my kegerator. They are great quality and a blend of metal and plastic. Be aware though that the Darth Vader helmet is separate from Darth's head, but the storm trooper is a single piece.
