Nice quality American made tool. It saved me a ton of time on the first lower ball joint project I used it on. Previously I used hammers and air chisels to remove lower ball joints and sometimes did more damage than I should have. This tool worked flawlessly. I would suggest putting oil on the threads and it helps to have another person to hold the pieces together. It gets awkward trying to hold the adapters and the get the screw tightened without another hand. I had to use a break over and a cheater pipe to put enough pressure to get the lower ball joint in and out as the air impact didn't have enough torque to do the job. I would 100% recommend this tool.

This is the hands down winner for changing ball joints in dodge trucks and other vehicles. Awesome product and superior quality for the price.

Bought this ball joint tool to remove broken axle studs on a ford rearend. Despite the advice to just smack them with a big hammer, this tool along with an impact wrench breaks studs free with minimal fuss. The press can be used to install new studs if the axle is out of the rearend. Very rugged design along with new case for everything. Very happy with is this tool.

Yes, it costs more than other kits, but there's a reason. Just holding this press in your hand makes it clear it's better. The casting is cleaner and more robust; the screw threading and ball bearing machining is smooth. If you've got the dough, go with this one. OTC offers a variety of vehicle/manufacturer specific cup kits that are great.

Spend the money and buy this American made otc tool. The only thing I would like to see is an adapter to press the pin bushings out of the spider. It will press put the brake pin, but not the sleeve around it. I had to get pretty western with it on another project that I had. It held up well with no issues.
