A particularly easy to use battery maintainer.
This is a high quality, transformer style, low amperage battery charger/maintainer. Many others tout to be fully automatic but you may have to select 6 or 12 volts before the charging process actually begins. So the charger may not restart should a power outage occur. This particular unit is only 12 volts so there is no possible need to select its output voltage. It re-starts truly automatically should a power outage occur. The single light will shine a solid red while charging, a green when fully charged. Truly simple and just what I was looking for. I cannot predict how long they will last but am totally happy with the four units I have charging/maintaining during the long winter months.This is a high quality, transformer style, low amperage battery charger/maintainer. This is a really nice battery maintainer for the price. Not to mention the extra adapters. The 'red' / 'green' indicator lights let you know where your battery's charge is at, better than the ones with only the 'red' light. I've used these types of maintainers and have had extended battery life because of them. One lawn tractor battery, that usually lasts about two (2) years, was working at four (4) years. It was on the charger all of that time. This is a really nice battery maintainer for the price. Not to mention the extra adapters.
